Student-Alumni Council connects students, past, present, and future. Many of our initiatives seek to benefit both students and alumni

Our members are active members of the community, frequently volunteering around campus with OSUAA and other student organizations

Many SAC members cite this as their favorite part about joining SAC! We enjoy what we do for the university, and having a great group of people to work with makes it so much more fun!

Our members learn many skills transferable to life after college. The variety of experiences that SAC provides will make you a great candidate for a job down the road and prepare you for the future

Before joining SAC, I wasn’t really involved at all on campus; I just had my freshman dorm friends. Since joining, I have met so many more incredible people, gained the confidence to join other groups, and had some awesome experiences. I would definitely not have the social life on campus I do now if it wasn't for SAC.

I also gained some great leadership experiences. Being the Spike PCo for a year taught me about time management, communication with a team, and how to lead a group of people. I would highly recommend applying to SAC to anyone who wants a group that can balance the professional, leadership, and social aspects of college.

Transferring to OSU as a sophomore, I had some reservations about finding my place at the university and fitting in socially. SAC played an integral role in me feeling welcomed and comfortable after transferring. Having a network of people from my first day on campus made the transition so smooth.

The activities with other members and students, both official events and social, quickly acquainted me with other students with similar interests and career paths. The friendships that I have made with other members will truly last for a lifetime.

For me, SAC made Ohio State feel like home—a place where I was genuinely excited to be and spend my time. This organization creates such a fun, exciting, and welcoming environment for people from all majors, which is one of the most special parts. As someone in the healthcare world, I never would have had the opportunity to connect with so many people from across campus, and now I wouldn’t trade those experiences for the world!

I stumbled across this organization at the involvement fair and have been hooked ever since. From Homecoming to all of the incredible people I’ve met along the way, SAC has given me more than I ever expected!

SAC has truly made my college experience one that I will never forget. Coming to a campus this big, it can be hard to find your people and feel like you are making an impact on the Buckeye community. From the start, I was met with a family that was there for me, personally and professionally. I have been given so many opportunities that have allowed me to give back to the Ohio State community that has already given so much to me.  

Whether it is running into other members around campus or talking to potential new members during recruitment season, SAC has always felt like home. Though I only have 4 years at The Ohio State University, these friendships will last for a lifetime!
